who we are
The National Foundation for Affordable Housing Solutions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to being a part of the solution to America’s affordable housing crisis.
The Foundation's Goals are to:
- Preserve the existing stock of government ASSISTED* affordable housing
- Provide creative strategy for
development of affordable housing
- Actively advocate for changes in housing policy to create new and more effective financing alternatives and support for affordable housing nationwide
*ASSISTED-Rental Housing built between 1965 and 1988 with Section 8 or equivalent resident rental assistance utilizing 221(d)(3),(d)(4), 223(f),236 and/ or HFA financing.
